Wonderous Wednesday! How to use Magic Transfer Paper

Vintage and modern mixed media art

I wanted to try my hand at a few new techniques, one was using old magazines and a natural product called Citra Solv something in it breaks down the old ink and creates some unique looks. I love the look but it's very orangy smelling at first. Lol anyway I found this unique vintage postcard that was the perfect size then added a bunch of texture and layers and voila. Vintage meets modern. What do you think. If you like it please share with your friends.

Mixed Media Canvas Art in Progress

This is a mixed media piece I have been working on that I wanted to share. I tend to gravitate to this color palette. I love the look of henna tattoos and this is interpretation.

I demonstrated using stencils in a variety of ways today

We had another fun day of free, live craft demos in our community at http://www.craftylink.com

I demoed a bunch of ways to use stencils that you might not have thought of and I showed off the prototype of our first stencil in our new stencil line. Butterfly Dreams Necklace 2nd in Collection

This is the second necklace in my Butterfly Dreams Collection. This one features more earthy colors and lots of texture. I love adding all kinds of texture to my pieces.
